Job Description
LONG TERM POSITION
The Document Imaging and Indexing Specialist supports the Shared Services department by ensuring accurate processing of incoming mail, policy information and other related documentation into the UMR system. This role is responsible for reviewing scanned documents, determining the correct categorization and placement within the system and ensuring high standards of accuracy and date integrity. Familiarity with medical terminology is essential to correctly identify and classify healthcare-related documents.
Highly accurate data entry
Able to scan and upload incoming documents (mail, faxes, policy updates) into the system.
Review and interpret medical and administrative documents to determine appropriate indexing.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA and company compliance standards.
Flexible with start times and it will be a 36 hour per week position.
This is a 6month plus assignment.
